“Mariel and I have been friends since the age of five years old and have worked all over the world together. As soon as she moved to a remote village off the coast of Cornwall, UK, I planned my visit from Canada’s west coast.” tells us photographer Berkley Vopnfjörð about her lovely C-Heads Exclusive debut and her long-term friendship with stylist Mariel Aileen. “Shortly after, Mariel scouted Emily Manley at her day job and this was her first time in front of the lens. I wanted to incorporate the dreamscape that is Treen and mostly vintage clothing styling. The weather allowed for a beautiful mood while capturing this story on 35mm film.”
